Brant, Richard

Passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Kingson General Hospital. Beloved son of the late Johnson and Muriel Green. Cherished husband of Gail for 58 years. Loving father of Nick (Victoria), Shari (Alvin). Denise and Adam (Nicole). Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Beloved brother of Carl (Gloria), Roy (Kathy), Lester, Will (Caroline) and Dan (Roberta). Predeceased by his sisters Eleanor and Joan and his brother Arnold. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews. He was on the Mohawk Fire Department, Police and Council. He was the founder of the Food Bank and Golf Tournament which is still active today. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 between the hours of 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm in the funeral home. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Richard.
