Babyn, Marie (nee Hill)

July 1936 – January 2024

Marie passed away peacefully at Quinte Hospice on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in her 88th year. Marie spent the majority of her life living and working in Scarborough, Ontario. She is predeceased by her husband Mike Babyn and her parents Mark Hill and Flossie Hill (nee Maracle). She is predeceased by her sisters, `Winnie`, Charlotte and Ruth and her brothers Josiah, Stephen and William. Predeceased by her good friend Hersel Green. Fondly remembered by Hersel`s nieces and her friends. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Special thanks to Mike Carr-Brant, Wanda Wells and family for looking after Aunt Marie and her needs. Family and Friends will be received on Thursday, February 1, 2024 between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson Canada or the Alzheimer’s Society in memory of Marie.
