Ellen Lea Anne “Lea” Green

April 22, 1946 – January 26, 2025

Passed away on Sunday, January 26th, 2025 at the Belleville General Hospital at the age of 78. She was a retired RN, part of the Bear Clan, and member of the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.

Leanne is survived by her children, Ainsley (Farrell) Leween and Jayson Scott and her granddaughters, Reagan, Maddie and Dylan.

Lea’s wish to avoid people “gawking” at her was to go home to her family and close friends to “celebrate my life not mourn my death” will be honored.

Our Mom/Nama/Grandma has joined her daughter Amy and Daddy Frank & Ma Cora Doreen and it is believed that she is sharing the latest “Trump news” with all those who were lucky to avoid living through the reality!

Combined funeral/visitation service for Lea and her Son, Jayson Scott who passed on February 7, 2025, will be held at M.J. Smith & Son Funeral Home in Deseronto, ON on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.

As per the wishes of Lea and Jayson, both have been cremated and will be interred at a later date.
