GLENSON DONALD CROZIER
October 18, 1930 – March 7, 2025
Born the son of a minister, Glen was predeceased by his parents, Roland Crozier and Emily Lyons, along with his eight brothers and sisters, four nephews, two nieces, and several of his inlaws: Elwood Crozier, Lois and Doug Cook, Evelyn Crozier, Russell and Keitha Crozier, Grace and Jim Brown, Arnold and Noreen Crozier, Margaret Crozier and Gren, Shirley and Jack Kenny, Camilla Corrigan, Mary and Stafford Cassidy. Glen is survived by inlaws: Gerald Corrigan (Helen dec.), Leo Corrigan (Juanita dec.), Ezel Dogan (Margaret dec.), Diane Corrigan (Michael dec.).
With his love of horses, his 120-acre farm and his exemplary hole-in-one at The Colonnade Golf & Country Club, the true highlight of Glen’s life was marrying his beloved wife of 54 years, Catherine Corrigan. A woman of great faith, Catherine stayed by his side as caregiver, companion, hand-holder for the final years of his life at Rideaucrest Home in Kingston.
A life spent with many moves growing up, Glen settled in Gananoque, first working at Alcan, Brown’s Vending, and finally retiring from MTO in 1990. Glen will be fondly remembered by their friends and neighbours with whom they met weekly for morning coffee at the Husky. In his 95th year Glen will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews as the handsome uncle who never aged.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Marysville at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Name of Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations would be gladly appreciated to Rideaucrest for the wonderful care received by both Glen and Catherine.
