Hill, Gloria Marlaine  “AKA Glo”

Passed peacefully at her home with family and close friends by her side on May 24, 2025 at the young age of 74.  Daughter of the late Iva (Garney) Cassibo and Cecil Jones.  beloved wife of the  late Barry Hill.  Cherished mother of Mark Dunn, James Dunn (Patti), Jason Hay (Tammara Figsby), Catrina Dunn (Bryan Bradshaw) and Barry Dunn.  Treasured Nanny of Joshua Dunn, Jacey Dunn, Kara Bush, and spouses. Courtney Hay, Cody Johnson, Jaydon Hay, Landon Hay, Toryn Hay, Amy Dalton, Baylee Merrigan, Jesse Merrigan, Rebecca Dunn, Cole Dunn and Bradley Dunn.  Great Nanny of Teagan Dunn, Elijah Dunn, Mattic Taylor, Adaline Taylor, Hazel Bush, Lainey Bush and Tucker Dalton.  Predeceased by her siblings Ronald Jones, Beverly Turcotte (Edward) and Lyle Jones. Survived by her siblings Paul Jones (Judy), Donna Garneau, Carrol Beatty (Clare), Judy Garneau (Ray – Deceased), Patsy Turcotte (Dean) and her sister-in-law Sharon Douglas.  her many neices and nephews. And dearest friends Deborah Samuels, Loretta Ramsey, Ross Crisp, Doreen Caird and all of their families. Gloria had a zest for life and touched the hearts of many people through out her years. And will be missed dearly by many.  Family and friends are welcome to come visit with the family on Saturday, May 31, 2025 between the hours of 11:00 – 2:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in M.J. Smith & Son Funeral Home.  Cremation to follow the service.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Mohawk Women’s Association, these ladies have continued to help families in our community, and this would be a great way to give back to them.
