Ruby Dianne Maracle Boomhour (Doreen)

Born on December 19th, 1949 in Watertown, NY, passed away peacefully on August 8th, 2025 at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre.  Ruby will be joining her parents Karl (Sonny) Doreen and Delores DelRio Hollenbeck in the Skyworld.  She was happily married to Bradly R. Boomhour for 16 years, but together for 35 plus years.  She will be leaving behind her children Shellye, Melissa (Jamie), Chrissy (predeceased), Jamie (Lisa) and Amanda (Russ).  She will miss all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jessy, Cody, Chance, DelReace, Kaylea, Ella, Ace, Ron, Hailey, Brooke, Keegan, Quentin, Rhys, Dylan, Skye and Alexis.  Ruby got to be a great grandma to six beautiful children, Kane, Blakely, Berkley, Lilly, Aspyn and Brewer.  She will also be leaving behind and joining some of her siblings Ray (predeceased), Ron, Karl (predeceased), Steven, Brenda (predeceased), Joanne, Sharen, Beverly, Wendy and Delores.  Ruby graduated with her social service diploma from FNTI.  She was a carbonate appointment coordinator for the Tyendinaga Pow Wow since 1994, as well as a member of the Native Women’s Association for many years.  Family and friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, between the hours of 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at M.J. Smith & Son Funeral Home, Deseronto.  Funeral Service to take place on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in the funeral home at 1:00p.m.  Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery, TMT.
