Brant, Carl D.

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, September 22, 2025 at the Lennox & Addington Hospital, Napanee in his 92nd year.  Son of the late Johnson and Muriel Brant.  Cherished husband of Gloria Taylor.  Loving dad of Rick (Dawn), Alvin (Lyn), Jennifer (Evan), Jason (Joanna) and Dan (Belinda).  Predeceased by his son Gary.  Treasured Grandpa and Pa to many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Survived by his siblings Roy (Kathy), Lester, Will (Caroline), Dan (Roberta) and his sisters-in-law Dorothy and Gail.  Predeceased by his siblings Joan, Eleanor, Arnold, Dick, Cheryl and sister-in-law Brenda.  Carl will always be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Family and Friends will be received on Thursday, September 25, 2025 between the hours of 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at M.J. Smith & Son Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 in the funeral home at 11:00a.m. with visitation 1 hour before the service.  In keeping with Carls wishes, cremation will take place after the service.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Tyendinaga Food Bank in memory of Carl.
