LaVecque, Wilbert “Pete”

Peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, November 9, 2025.  Cherished husband of Annie for 69 years.  Loving dad of Wilbert (Bonnie), Terry (Carol), Steven (Janice), Debbie, predeceased (Gary), Cathie (Larry), Shirley (Mike) and Scott (Monica).  Treasured grandpa to many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Family and friends are welcome to M.J. Smith & Son Funeral home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 between the hours of 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment to follow in Melrose Cemetery.  There will be refreshment following the interment in the Tyendinaga Rec Complex, 363 McFarland Road,  Shannonville.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Pete.
