Hird-Howard, Mary

Passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025 at the Friendly Manor Nursing Home in her 67th year. Daughter of the late Lewis and Mary Hird.  Loving wife of the late Greg Howard.  Cherished mom of Jayme, Kaleb, Joanna and Mark.  Predeceased by her daughter Tara.  Treasured grandma of Perse, Claire, Marlee, Aurora and Greyson.  Dear sister of Chuck Hird (Lisa).  Predeceased by her sister Jody.  Proud Aunt of Charlee, Bryar, Harper and Lane.  Mary is remembered for her 25 years of volunteer service at the Quinte Detention Centre in Napanee as well as working with her husband Greg at Schooners Fish and Chips in Picton. Over the years, Mary was a nanny to many families in Deseronto.  In keeping with Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Community Living.
