Anderson, Peter

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 10, 2026, at Hospice Quinte in his 91st year.  Son of the late Ralph and Alice Anderson.  Cherished husband of the late Sheryl Anderson (nee Brant).  Loving Father of Cathy Dings(Karl), Tim Anderson (Sandra) and step-dad of Melissa Wood (Correy) and Melanie Jackson. Treasured Grampa of Matthew Dings (Nettie), Ali Dings (Ryan) Emily Anderson (Ryan) and great Grampa of Nya Dings and Luna Dings.  Survived by his sister Mary Ellen Steeves.  Peter will always be remembered by his many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Hospice Quinte for their care and compassion.

In keeping with Peter's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in M.J. Smith & Son Funeral Home at 12:00 noon, with 1 hour of visitation before the service.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice Quinte in memory of Peter.
