We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Robert Alexander Stott, who left us peacefully at the age of 88. He was the devoted husband of Josephine Stott for 63 years—a testament to a lifetime of love and partnership. He was a proud and loving father to Dolores Stott of Belleville, Ontario; Kimberley (Warrick) Gillingham of Gander Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador; and Christopher (Colette) Stott of Greenwood, Nova Scotia. His love for his children was constant and unwavering, and he took great pride in each of them. He was a proud grandfather to Christian, Alexandria, Noah, Siobhan, Rose, Allison and Nathan and great grandfather to Kai, Isla, Dean, and Stella.  He is also survived by his brother, Byron, and his sister, Shirley.  Bob lived a long and meaningful life, filled with love, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to his family. The lessons he shared and the values he instilled will stay with us forever.  He found joy in life’s simple moments—time spent with family, familiar routines, and the comfort of being surrounded by those he loved. His faith was a quiet but powerful foundation in his life, giving him peace and strength through every season Those memories are now among our most treasured.  Though we are heartbroken by his passing, we are grateful for the many years we had with him and we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace, held in the presence of the Lord he trusted so deeply. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 

Rest in peace. Until we meet again, you will always be in our hearts.

Celebration of Life will be held in Parkdale Baptist Church, 514 Sidney Street, Belleville, on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 1:30 p.m., all are welcome.
