Hill, Douglas

Unexpectedly on May 12, 2026, at the Kingston Health Science Centre in his 59th year.  Son of the late Jay and Doreen Hill.  Doug is now reunited with his beloved wife Brenda (nee McEwen).  He leaves behind his loving children Duston and Leah, his grandchildren Kevin, Idris, Iris and Icarus and his siblings Wendy (Jay), Roger, Lisa and Alan.  He will always be remembered by his nieces, nephews and his brother and sister-in-law’s.  Doug enjoyed his years working at Gibbard Furniture from the age of 19 until it closed in 2009.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.  Doug and Brenda will be laid to rest together in All Saints Cemetery.  Doug was a dedicated member of the Deseronto Legion Branch 280 for 30 plus years, and a Celebration of Life will be held upstairs on June 13, 2026 between the hours of 7:00 pm – 1:00 am
