Gene Laverne Maracle (Fish) November 7, 1937 – October 10, 2014 UA local 463 Member for 50 + years Surrounded by his family at home on October 10, 2014 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of 50 years to Norma. Son of the late Eva Maracle. Dear father of Sandra (Karl), Scott (Angie), Suzanne. Cherished Grampy to Ian(Meagan), Malory (Jeff), Chrystal, Colin, Brenna, Jadyn & Easton. Dear Brother-in-law of Marion Thomas, Carmen Maracle, Carol Thomas(Woody), Betty Maracle, Wilma Maracle & Donna Spencer. Dear Uncle of many nieces & nephews. Loving Godfather to Cody & Casey Thomas. Fondly Remembered by many special friends and his travel buddies Les(Pal) Reid & Lester (Neighbour) Brant. Proud Firefighter of 40 years with the Mohawk Fire Department. Lifetime member of the Hastings Prince Edward Mutual Aid Association and had many years of dedicated service to the Training Tower. Family and Friends will be received at McGlade Funeral Home in Deseronto on Tuesday, October 14, between the hours of 7-9p.m. and on Wednesday, October 15th, between the hours of 1-3 & 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October, 16th at 11:00 am in All Saints Church.
