Obituary of George Van Alstyne

Van Alstyne, George It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of George Van Alstyne at the Napanee hospital in his 79th year. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley of 57 years, his children Michael (Sandra), Deb (Derryl) and Donnie (Nicole). His grandchildren Amanda(Brain), Derek(Jules) Darryl, Craig, Cole(Tasha), Brandon(Jocelyne), Erica, Leah(Darryl) , Ryan, and Christopher. His great grandchildren Macie, Olivia, Ainsley, Peyton, Frankie and Ronan. Survived by his sisters Dorothy and Mary. George will be greatly missed by his sister in laws, brother in laws and his many nieces and nephews. Family and Friends will be received at McGlade Funeral Home in Deseronto on Tuesday, September 23rd between the hours of 7:00 -9:00pm and on Wednesday, September 24th between the hours of 10:00 – 11:00am. Funeral Service to follow at 11:30am in the Funeral Home. Interment at Deseronto Cemetery.
