Obituary of Lorraine Hill

Hill, Lorraine Peacefully with her family by her side on June 25, 2014 at the Kingston General Hospital in her 79th year. Beloved and cherished wife of the late Chief Earl R. Hill. Loving daughter of the late Arnold Hill and Louisa (nee Fuller) and granddaughter of the late William S. Hill and Mary Jane Loucks and Samuel Fuller and Louisa Maracle. Dear sister of Avelina Green, Morris Hill, Victor Hill and sister-in-law of Madelyn Freestone. Predeceased by her siblings Mabel Minus, Jennie Hill,, Violet Wilson, Verna Gechowski, Gladys Fletcher and Basil Hill. Always remembered by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lorraine was an admired teacher and example to all her children and her community. Family and Friends will be received at McGlade Funeral Home, on Saturday, June 28, 2014 and Sunday, June 29, 2014 between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 in All Saints Church at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Charity of Your Choice within the Mohawk Community in memory of Lorraine.
