Obituary of Shirley Jane Foster

Foster, Shirley Jane Peacefully with her family by her side on May 26, 2014 at Kingston General Hospital in her 73rd year. Daughter of the late Beryl and Raymond Herman. Loving mother of Deborah (Brian) Sikora and Reta (Robert) Chalmers. Treasured nanny of Michael (Jessica) Sikora, Edie Sikora, Tiffany Chalmers and great grandma of Elizabeth Weibe, Alexis Lee Sikora and Katherine Sikora. Shirley will always be remembered by her brothers and sisters Lorraine Watson, Eric (Ike) Herman, Wendy Brant, Richard (Lynn) Herman and sister-in-law Carol Herman. Predeceased by siblings Doris Bailey, Lorne Herman and Larry Herman. Shirley was a very proud long time membered of TOPS Canada and a volunteer at Bookend Café Kingston Public Library and for the Guardian Angel Program in Kingston. In keeping with Shirley’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association or the Kingston General Hospital ICU Unit in memory of Shirley.
