Obituary of Eileen Murphy

Murphy, Eileen Passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Monday, August 27, 2018 in her 91st year. Dear wife of the late Harold (Dooley) Murphy. Daughter of the late Hugh McGuinness and Mary Veronica Walsh. Cherished mom of Michael (Mary Anne), Pat (Paula), Laurie Richardson (Rob), Mary Lynn Brant (Dan), David (Julie), Sheila Thompson (Mark Hiebert), Karen Milligan (Brian), Barbara Lloyd (Jim Wood) and Tim (Marleen). Predeceased by her son Chris (Faye) . Treasured grandma to 32 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 7 siblings Ed, Frank, Helen, Bernice, Leon, Clare (Tom) and Laverne. Survived by her sister-in-law’s Theresa Roach, Diane McGuinness and Carolyn McGuinness. Always remembered by many nieces and nephews. She left us a wonderful legacy of caring for friends, family and church. Mom’s life was complete with a gathering of a clan, a good baseball or hockey game or a game of cards. Family and Friends will be received at McGlade Funeral Home on Thursday, August 30, 2018 between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Marysville, on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal with prayers at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Cemetery.
