Obituary of Francis Randall Brant

Brant, Francis Randall ‘Randy’ Ratiskisaks Wolf Clan Owner of Randy’s Leather Hats for Hide Depot It is with great sadness that we announce the peacefully passing at home of a wonderful man on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Randy was born on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, he was the son of the late Robert Barnhart and Susan Decker. He was raised by Randall and Emeline Brant. He was a loving father to Cheryle Maracle, Bonnie Brant, Clyde Brant, Jennifer Brant (Ted), Casey Bernhardt (Matt) and Betsy Clark. Predeceased by his son Robert Brant. Treasured grandpa of Seaira Maracle, Alana Woods (Brandon), Tyler Woods (Ashley) and Austin Maracle (Becca). Great grandpa of Cali Woods and Gavin Woods. Dear brother of Judy Maracle, Susie Maracle, Robbie Decker, Tim Decker, Randy Barnhart, Frank Barnhart, Kathy Brant, Gord Barnhart, Tim Barnhart and Jay Barnhart. Predeceased by his siblings Sam and Vonnie. Randy will be greatly missed by Bonnie, Joe, Cindy and Mice. He will always be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, his Pow Wow Family and his many coffee Buddies. Family and Friends will be received at McGlade Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Mohawk Pentecostal Church, York Road, TMT on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the Mohawk Pentecostal Cemetery.
