Obituary of Greg Brant

Brant, Gregory Philip

Surrounded by the love of his children, Jordan (Sharann) and Kiera (Anton), Greg began his journey into the Spirit World at the Toronto General Hospital, on Tuesday, October 15th 2019, at the age of 56. Greg was dearly loved by many: his parents Ron and Deanna, his wife Susan, brother Shawn and sister-in-law Sue, nephews and nieces Matthew, Teyohá:te, Gunner and Katste. Greg’s special circle included Gail, Will, Uncle Ken and Aunt Lois, Aunt Mary, Lonnie and Noreen, and many other cousins, extended family, caring neighbours and friends. He was the owner of Brant’s Sporting and his passions were diverse; including, being an avid hunter, fisherman, mechanic, car enthusiast, gun and military antique collector, woodworker, and gardener. Greg led an active life as a teacher, lawyer, band councillor, gunsmith and rifle shooting coach. Visitation will be at Ron and Deanna’s home at 432 B Ridge Road on Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th 2019. Please stop by to visit and share your memories. All are invited to a feast and celebration at the Mohawk Community Centre (1807 York Road) at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20th 2019.   Cremation to follow.  In lieu of donations, and in honour of Greggy’s memory, we are asking friends and family to please extend kind words and gestures to one another.
