Salter, Ellen `Rose`

Passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Kingston General Hospital in her 68th year.  Wife of the late Walter Salter.  Daughter of the late Stephen and Clara Hill.  Cherished mom of Julie (Bob) Emmons, Diane Salter, Amy (Richard) Saunders and Stepmom of Charles (Caitlyn) Salter..  Treasured grandma of Tami, Tyler, Daniel, Jasmine, Matthew, Emily, Owen, Haven, Deacon and Serena.  Dear sister of Linda, Helena, Joe, Chuck, Don, Deborah, Bud and Tammy.  Predeceased by her sisters Ann and Brenda.  She will always be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received at Smith & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, November 10, 2019 between the hours of 2:00- 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.  Cremation to follow with an interment at a later date.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or Alzheimer Society in memory of Rose.
