Wahariwahtsenri Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Lennox & Addington Hospital in Napanee. Son to Diana Joy Brant and the late Donald Austin Karnuth. Loving husband of Lorraine Almond. Cherished father of Jennifer Jensen, Jacquline Brunell, Joanne Almond (Michael Zelesky) and Jordan Almond (Chris Carpenter). Treasured grandpa of Sarah, Katy, Shaylee, Linkin, Londyn and Levi. Dear brother of Dawn (Jay) Mead, Thomas Lionel Karnuth, Jason (Tammy) Karnuth and Beth Ann Gorman. Always remembered by his nieces and nephews Elizabeth, Allison, Ashley, Emery, Jayme, Julie, Casey and Thomas and his mother-in-law Catherine Blystone. Wahariwahtsenri worked as a science teacher, mechanic, carpenter, bead artist and he was a central taxi driver. He loved his heritage, family & friends, teaching, woodworking, science fiction, horses, dogs & cats, rocks, camping, hunting, fishing, the mountains and the Lord! He had a silly sense of humor, he was kind, compassionate, loving, intelligent and a gifted artist. Family and Friends will be received at McGlade Funeral Home, on Saturday, July 9, 2016 between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday, July 10, 2016 between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kanonhsehsne Longhouse, Ridge Road, TMT. Interment will follow on Hwy 49 (just north of 939 Hwy 49, Speedway Gas Station).
