Obituary of Ivan Hugh Reid

Ivan Hugh Reid June 12th, 1944 – December 19th, 2020 Peacefully passed away with family by his side in his 77th year on December 19th, 2020. Loving husband to Shirley Reid of 22 years. Dear son of the late Robert and Mildred Reid. Survived by his son Tony (Tosha) Reid, grandchildren Lydia and Beth Reid, his brother Duane Reid, and his niece and nephews Natalie, Jason and Ashley. Ivan will always be fondly remembered by Shirley’s children Leo, Lorna, Dan, Brian and Lorrie, and dearly missed by Shirley’s siblings. Grandpa Ivan will be pleasantly remembered by many of Shirley’s grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ivan was a long standing member of AA for 33 years and will be missed by all the members of the different meetings he attended. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Ivan’s Life and Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Ivan.
