Obituary of Linda Ethel Ann Orser

Orser, Linda (nee Feeley) May 11, 1947 – February 18, 2021 It is with great sadness, we share the news that Linda Ethel Ann passed away suddenly in the KGH ER on Thursday, February 18, 2021. She was a loving wife to Lorne (53 years) and mother to Jody (predeceased Mary Paulette Hill daughter-in-law 2020), Jeremy (predeceased infant son 1973), Krystal Amaral (predeceased daughter 2019) and Jamie; grandmother / nana to Katarina and Jeremias Amaral. She was a cherished sister to Sybil (predeceased infant sister 1947), Gary Feeley (Karen), Judy Anderson (John), Janet Giroux (Brian) and Allen Feeley (Maria); and, sister-in-law to Sonny Embury (Lorraine) and Cecil Orser (Linda); as well as, a great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Claude (1979) and mother, Annie (2020). Linda`s career at the Bank of Montreal progressed successfully over 50 years to Branch Manager in Verona; and, in other positions in several locations in the surrounding Kingston area. She was a great cook and baker who was known for her Mac & Cheese casserole, cookies, pies and donuts. She was an avid reader who loved to take road trips across Canada, but her devotion to her family was always the most important priority in her life. Both Linda and Lorne shared a passion for beef farming, 4-H and treasured the many friendships they made over the years. Due to Covid, a small family gathering will take place. A Graveside Service and Celebration of Her Life will be announced at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Linda`s memory may be made to U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario), or a Charity of Your Choice, and / or performs acts of kindness while thinking of Linda would be appreciated by the family.
