GERRY, FOYLE

1938-2021

 

 

Peacefully passed away on Monday June 7, 2021 in his 83rd year at home. Son of the late James and Robyn Foyle.  Beloved husband to the late Linda Foyle. Beloved brother of Ron Foyle(Kathy), Bill Foyle (Joyce) and Sharon Warde (Larry) all of British Columbia. Beloved brother-in-law to Therese Patino of Guelph and Mary Frank (John) of Ingersol. Cherished Father to the late Alana Francis and Robin Foyle of Barrie. Cherished Step-father of Tom Maracle (Lisa), Ed Maracle  and Ron Maracle (Michelle). Treasured grandfather of Theresa, Sandra, Lance, Shawn, Tiffany, Jake, Thomas, Anthony, Liam, Rori, Evan, Breanne, Meghan, Savana and great grandfather of Dominik, Kayla, Alisha, Angel and Lillian.  Gerry was a Veteran of the Canadian Air Force with fond memories of his duties with the search and rescue. After his retirement he was an active and longtime member of the Deseronto Legion and will be fondly remembered by all.  In keeping with Gerry’s wishes cremation has taken place.  In lieu of flowers, a donation in his name to the Legion Poppy Fund would be greatly appreciated.
