Allen Malcolm McGillivray passed peacefully on August 1, 2021. He leaves behind a daughter Michelle Andrews, step-daughter Darlene Kellar (Eugene Kellar), step-son Steve Malek (Erin Braidford) and grandson Miles Malek. He was a loving husband to the late Deloris Eleanor Maracle who passed in 1996 as well as the late Linda Faith Malek who passed in 2018. Al was a gifted musician and lover of bluegrass music. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, camping and his dog Max. He retired from Dupont (Invista) in Kingston. A visitation will be held at M.J. Smith & Son Funeral Home at 78 Centre St. in Deseronto on Monday, August 9th from 1-2pm. A funeral service will follow at 2pm at the same location. Everyone is welcome at the visitation. Due to covid restrictions, his service will be restricted to family and close friends. There will be an interment of ashes to follow for family at the Deseronto Cemetery at 9574 County Rd 2 where Al will be laid to rest along with his father the late John Malcolm McGillivrary, his mother the late Edythe Irene Allen and his late wife Deloris Eleanor Maracle.
