Katrina “Katie” Isabel Lillian (Brant) nee Thomas Whalen September 12, 1988- August 21, 2021 Suddenly on Saturday, August 21, 2021, in her 33rd year. Loving daughter of Sandy Brant and Richard Thomas (Donna). Katie will be greatly missed by her husband, Leo Whalen, their cat Lucy and their late puppy Charlee. She is survived by her grandparents Winston Brant and Judy Shelley (Les), and her siblings Cedar Brant Swain, Miigwun Brant-Swain, Faye Noganosh, Kayla Henry, Kimberley Thomas and their families. Always remembered by her grandbaby Royan, her stepchildren Thomas Whalen (Brittanny), Jesse Whalen (Rachal), and Travis Whalen. She is pre-deceased by her paternal grandparents, her brother Shawn Kaboni, her unborn baby and her furbabies Lilah, Bobo and Pebbles. Katie will forever be missed by many in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Community will be received at 180 Wymans Road, on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, after 5pm on Thursday, August 26, 2021. All day visitation on Friday, August 27, 2021. Funeral Service to commence on Saturday August 28, 2021 at 2pm. Family and friends are welcome to stay for a time of fellowship and refreshments after the service.
