Mercer, Peter William September 24, 1951 – September 17, 2021 Passed away peacefully on September 17, 2021 at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving and devoted husband of 37 years to the late Verna Mercer (nee Dobbin). Loving son of the late Thomas and May Mercer. Peter will be deeply missed by his siblings Thomas (Yvonne), Robert (Lorrie), Melvyn (Ginette), Sharon (Patrick), Brian, Gerald, Lynda (Lloyd), his sister-in-law Rose Tinney (Tom) and by his many nieces and nephews as well as the Tinney and Dobbin families. Predeceased by his sisters Marie and Karen and brothers David, Paul and Danny. The family would like to thank the staff at Village Green Nursing Home for all the wonderful care he received. There are not enough words to express our gratitude towards Rose and Tom Tinney for forever being there and being not only his sister and brother –in-law but his best friend. In keeping with Peters wishes cremation has taken place and an interment will take place at a later date in Deseronto Cemetery.
