I just wanted to share a treasured memory that I’ll never forget. I babysat Joe and his sisters when they were little babies. Joe was always excited and happy to see me. When he reached talking age, he couldn’t say my name and called me ‘Gurmer’ instead. LOL. Who knows, maybe that was the beginning of his language teachings and my Native name was Gurmer in his baby mind!
