After surviving a catastrophic car accident 18 years ago, and living with an acquired brain injury Shawn died peacefully on Monday, May 23, 2022 with his wife Sharon by his side. His beloved children Liam and Sadie will always remembered him. Survived by his father Billy Doyle. Predeceased by his mother Lynda Jackson. Instrumental in his life, the late grandparents Ray and Marjorie Doyle and Leola Fawcett. Missed by many Aunts, Uncles, Patsy, Dale, Mary and the late Donnie and Dewaine. Fondly remembered by his in-laws Chuck and Doreen McCormick. Sister and brother in-laws, Eileen, Peggy and Rob; Bill. Pretty cool Uncle Shitty to Andy, Dave, Mitch, Ben and Libby. Missed by life-long family friend Doug McMechan. Thank you to Finlay House Staff for the care of Shawn.
Graveside burial will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery, Read, Ontario. Followed by a gathering in the Parish Hall. All are welcome to attend.
