Beverley Ann Boomhour Obituary

Boomhour, Beverley

(nee Cole)

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mom, nana, sister and aunt, on Sunday, June 12, 2022 in her 86th year. Daughter of the late George and Fern Cole. Loving wife of the late Vernon Boomhour. Cherished mom of Stephanie Guimont (Marc) and Jeffrey Boomhour (Lisa). Treasured Nana of Mathieu (Josee), Andrea (Kyle), Tiffany and Tara (Mike). Dear sister of Roger Cole (Marilyn). Predeceased by her siblings Shirley, Laurine, Lois, Helen and George. Bev will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Bev loved her hometown, Deseronto and had a great passion for volunteer work, especially her work with the Friends of the Library. She thrived on making the town a better place by volunteering and sitting on different committees. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 25, 2022 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Deseronto Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Grace United Church or Napanee SPCA in memory of Bev.
