Safe in the Arms of Jesus

Retired from Peel Region Police after 28 years

 

 

Peacefully on Monday, November 7, 2022 at the Lennox & Addington Hospital, Napanee  at the age of 80.  Son of Frederick and Dorrell Spratt.  Cherished husband to Isabel for 57 years.  Loving dad of Joanne Verzyl (Phil) and Bryan Spratt (Tanya).  Treasured grandpa of Chantelle, Vannessa, Michael, Mellissa, Amy-Lynn, Britny, Nolan, Zach, Tylar and great grandpa to 15 great grandchildren.  Dear brother of David Spratt (Debbie) and Beverley Barclay (John).  Carl will always be remembered by his brother-in-law Norman Clark (Nancy) and his sister-in-law Margaret and their families and by Creagh (Tracy) Braidon and Isaac Clark.  Carl had a great passion for reading, a desire for volunteering, either at the Salvation Army or Head Water Health in Orangeville or being in his beautiful tended gardens.  He loved being around people and his visits with his many friends.  Please join us on Saturday, November 12, 2022 to help celebrate his life from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at New Hope Community Church, 690 Riddell Road, Orangeville.  Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. in the church.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army, Orangeville or In Touch Ministries Canada in memory of Carl.
