I'm very sorry to learn of Fred's passing. We met rarely as adults because of distance, but I remember him as a kind man with a sense of humour. With my sister Kay, I last met Fred and Teddy a few years ago at their home, when Fred and I went on a wild goose chase looking for the grave of our great great grandfather Nicholas Simmons on the reserve.

I was fortunate to meet Freddy and Teddy while they had young kids that I would babysit during my teens. The kids were great to look after and same for Freddy and Teddy when they had a late night. Had a few beverages with them both at the end of the night. What a fun loving couple and so many fond memories! And those kids became my friends. Ang and my condolences to the family and friends of Freddy.
