Norman Christopher Stephen Spencer

It is with heavy hearts we announce that after a brief battle with cancer, Norman transitioned into his next journey on October 5th, 2023 in his 46^th year.

Norman is survived by his mother Linda and pops Glenn Salter, siblings Angela, Ashley, Julie, Dee, Amy and brother from another mother Bernie Hill.  Cherished father of Owen (Brook), Norm Jr, Hannah, Blake (Megan) and Alyssa. Treasured grandfather to Derek, Markus and Calvin.  Dear uncle to Jordan, Dakota, Josh, Kayla and Bailey. Predeceased by his dad Norman and sister Kimberly.

Norm always had a story to tell, quick-witted, sarcastic and very rarely missed a comeback. Norm was always ready to lend a helping hand, figuring out solutions to problems (conventional or not), or to lend moral support. He loved his family and friends fiercely and if you knew Norm you loved him too.

If you were friends with Norm you had a friend for life.

Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.  In keeping with Norms wishes, cremation will take place after the service.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Matt Folwell & Dr. Hogg and the team at RVH for the care and compassion received while there. An extra special Miigwech thank you to Akeesha Footman, our Indigenous Transition Facilitator, who helped us navigate through paperwork, appointments with great compassion and positive energy. A special thank you to Dr. Kate Koester who took over Norm's palliative care and Kyla from Community Wellbeing.
