I will cherish the friendship that I had with Vern in our younger years. He was like a brother to me, and it was always an adventure when he was around. Vern’s smile lit up a room, and his laughter was infectious - I have nothing but joyous memories of him, and that is such a gift.
I hope Vern’s gentle soul rests in peace, with Primus playing on in the background.
Trevor was my step father, and I’m sad to see him go not knowing that I never actually hated him, I was just a teenager who hated change. He deserved better, and I hope my Mother and him have found that.
