After a battle with some health problems, we sadly announce the passing of our daughter, sister, aunt and dear friend on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre in her 50th year.   She is now reunited with her husband the late Laverne Maracle.  She leaves behind her mom, Carol Brant (Wally Maracle), siblings George Brant (Samantha Brant) and Danielle Brant, Stepchildren Jane, Kyle and Ryan and grandchildren Haven and Ashton.  Tanya will always be remembered by her nieces and nephews Aurora, Shayla, Aiden, Ava, Nathaniel, Jonah, Coleson, Hunter, Carson and Megan, her partner Tim Maracle and her many extended family and friends, especially her lifelong friend Angela Hewitt (Cory Cota). 

Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 16, 2024 at M.J. Smith & Son Funeral Home between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mohawk Community Centre, 1807 York Road, TMT.  Cremation to follow.
